Senior Manager – Branch Operations

I&M Bank Tanzania is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager – Branch Operations to lead operational excellence across the Bank's branch network. The successful candidate will strengthen operational controls, ensure regulatory compliance, improve branch performance, and provide leadership to branch operations teams while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee branch operations across the Bank.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen operational controls and enterprise risk management practices.
• Ensure audit readiness across all branches.
• Monitor branch performance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high customer service standards.
• Drive continuous process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop Branch Operations Managers and branch operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 8 years of banking experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior operations management role.
• Strong knowledge of branch operations, banking risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
