We are seeking an HR Intern to support Alistair Group’s HR team, with a primary focus on recruitment, selection, and employee engagement. The internship provides practical exposure to the full recruitment cycle as well as employee relations, HR administration, performance management, payroll, and employment compliance.
Responsibilities

Source candidates through job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels.

Conduct initial candidate screening and support candidate shortlisting.

Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Maintain recruitment records and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data.

Support the recruitment cycle from sourcing through onboarding.

Assist with employee engagement activities, company events, team-building, and recognition programmes.

Support employee retention and career-development initiatives.

Conduct exit interviews and assist with analysing employee feedback.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Prepare employment offers, contracts, and other HR documentation.

Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.

Support employee relations and resolution of workplace concerns.

Assist with performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans.

Track performance review cycles and compile performance data.

Support compliance with labour laws and employment requirements.

Assist with payroll processing and maintenance of payroll records.

Work with Finance to reconcile payroll information and resolve discrepancies.

Support HR projects, wellness initiatives, and policy updates.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Previous HR, recruitment, or selection experience is preferred.

Understanding of candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing.

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruitment software.

Basic knowledge of HR policies, employment procedures, and labour laws.
