Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

AML Finance Limited is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic and executive leadership to the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing AML’s 2025–2030 strategy, driving sustainable profitability, strengthening credit and portfolio quality, improving operational efficiency, diversifying funding, and building a high-performing leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Execute AML Finance Limited’s 2025–2030 strategy and deliver sustainable profitability.
• Strengthen credit quality and portfolio monitoring.
• Improve collections and recovery performance.
• Diversify the company’s funding sources.
• Improve systems, technology and overall operational efficiency.
• Build and lead a high-performing leadership team.
• Develop a strong organizational culture focused on accountability and performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, investors and lenders.
• Strengthen relationships with customers and other key stakeholders.
• Drive organizational growth and transformation.
• Ensure the company maintains strong SME credit and portfolio-quality management.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of professional experience in banking, non-bank finance, SME finance, microfinance, development finance or a related field.
• Significant senior executive leadership experience.
• Proven success in delivering business growth, organizational transformation and sustainable profitability.
• Strong knowledge of SME credit and portfolio-quality management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree, MBA or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience working in Tanzania or a comparable African market is desirable.
• Strong strategic and executive leadership capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship-management skills.
