About the Role

Responsibilities

• Receive and review loan applications from clients.
• Ensure all required documents are complete and accurate.
• Guide clients through the application process.
• Analyze applicants' financial status and repayment ability.
• Conduct background checks and risk assessments.
• Make recommendations for loan approval or rejection.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Provide financial advice and explain loan terms clearly.
• Respond to client inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Prepare approved loans for disbursement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with the finance team for the timely release of funds.
• Track repayment schedules and follow up on overdue loans.
• Implement strategies to minimize defaults.
• Maintain accurate records of repayments and arrears.
• Maintain proper records of all loan transactions.
• Prepare regular reports on loan performance.
• Ensure all files are updated and well-organized.
• Identify potential clients and business opportunities.
• Promote loan products and services.
• Support company growth through client acquisition.

Requirements

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in microfinance, banking, or lending services is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Good knowledge of credit risk analysis.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
