CCBRT Hospital is seeking a dedicated Quality and Safety Officer to support the Quality Assurance Department in driving continuous quality improvement across the organization. The successful candidate will coordinate quality management initiatives, conduct clinical audits, support staff training, and help strengthen patient safety and healthcare service standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support 5S, KAIZEN, TQM, and Lean quality improvement initiatives.

Conduct internal quality audits and monitor implementation of improvement plans.

Coordinate Nursing, Clinical, and Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) audits.

Support implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

Develop quality reports and monitor organizational performance.

Facilitate quality-related training and capacity-building activities.

Support complaint management and customer feedback improvement initiatives.

Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation.

Promote compliance with the organization's Quality Management System.

Collaborate with departments to improve healthcare processes and patient safety.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in General Nursing, Midwifery, Psychiatric Nursing, or Nursing Administration.

Minimum six (6) years of clinical experience.

Experience in healthcare quality management is an added advantage.

Strong clinical auditing and quality improvement skills.

Knowledge of 5S, KAIZEN, TQM, Lean, and Quality Management Systems.

Excellent analytical, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Fluency in both English and Swahili.

Ability to work proactively, multitask, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
