Official job description

We are seeking qualified Personal Secretaries to join the Tanzania Teachers Union (TTU) in Dodoma.

The successful candidates will provide secretarial and administrative support by preparing Union documents, maintaining office records, handling communications, receiving visitors, and ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

Type and prepare Union documents and correspondence.
Maintain accurate and organized office records.
Receive visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office.
Receive, handle, and forward office communications.
Maintain an organized and presentable office environment.
Protect confidential information and documents.
Provide general secretarial and administrative support.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Form Four education or above.
NTA Level 4, 5, or 6 in Secretarial Studies, recognized by NACTE.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Good computer skills.
Ability to use the internet effectively.
Fluency in Kiswahili and English.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
Must be 45 years of age or below.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle office information responsibly.
