We are seeking a Project Facilitator to support the implementation of the Empowered II project in Mara Region. The role focuses on empowering domestic workers through community mobilization, vocational training, economic-strengthening initiatives, workers' rights awareness, and engagement with local authorities and community stakeholders. The Project Facilitator will also monitor beneficiaries, support project documentation and reporting, and coordinate field-level activities with CHODAWU and other project partners.
Responsibilities

Mobilize domestic workers and community members to participate in project activities.

Identify and recruit domestic workers for vocational training and other project interventions.

Support the recruitment of domestic workers as CHODAWU members and facilitate the formation and strengthening of local branches.

Coordinate with CHODAWU Regional Secretaries, ward officials, Community Development Officers, local leaders, and other stakeholders.

Monitor beneficiary participation, training attendance, and overall progress of project activities.

Provide coaching and follow-up support to domestic workers participating in microcredit and revolving-fund initiatives.

Facilitate savings groups, peer-support meetings, branch meetings, and other community groups.

Conduct awareness sessions on workers' rights, gender equality, financial literacy, occupational safety, and access to local services.

Support conflict resolution and mediation involving domestic workers, employers, and groups in collaboration with relevant authorities and CHODAWU leaders.

Strengthen relationships with local authorities, employers, community leaders, and service providers.

Support official engagement between CVM, government officials, and other project stakeholders in collaboration with the Project Coordinator.

Collect, verify, document, and maintain accurate project and beneficiary data.

Document case studies, best practices, lessons learned, and project outcomes.

Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly field reports.

Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including surveys, interviews, field assessments, and beneficiary follow-ups.

Identify implementation challenges, gaps, and risks and recommend appropriate solutions.

Provide logistical support for training sessions, meetings, workshops, field missions, and stakeholder engagements.

Support domestic workers in developing leadership, management, and decision-making capabilities to improve the sustainability of established groups and branches.

Represent the project professionally at community forums, meetings, and dialogues concerning domestic workers' rights and welfare.

Support the proper and transparent management of financial resources allocated to project activities.

Manage project materials, office supplies, equipment, records, and other field-office resources appropriately.

Support basic field-office administration and maintain organized project files and documentation.

Ensure compliance with organizational procedures, safeguarding standards, data-protection requirements, and ethical guidelines.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Human Resource Management, Education, or a related field.

Diploma or certificate in Project Management, Community Mobilization, or Gender Studies is an added advantage.
