Maintenance Technician

Requirements & Experience

• Recognized technical training certificate or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in crusher and screen maintenance
• Good understanding of operating principles and structures of Crushers
• Good understanding of operating principles and structures of Screening equipment
• Good understanding of operating principles and structures of Conveyor systems
• Proficiency in welding and cutting (welding certificate is an advantage)
• Ability to use multimeter
• Ability to use feeler gauge
• Ability to use dial indicator
• Ability to use infrared (IR) thermometer
• Ability to use vibration meter
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
• Basic English communication skills
• Good knowledge of Tanzanian occupational health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of site operational standards
• Strong safety awareness
• Clean safety record with no major violations
• Physical fitness for demanding outdoor work, shift work, and heavy equipment maintenance
• No medical conditions affecting heavy equipment operations (hypertension, heart disease, epilepsy, color blindness)
• Age between 25 and 45 years
• Good character
• No criminal record
• Strong leadership skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Commitment to quality and assigned responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Negotiation skills
