Senior Sales Executive

Dragon Oil Tanzania Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to drive sales of automotive and industrial lubricants. The role focuses on developing new business, expanding distribution channels, managing key customer relationships, and achieving lubricant sales and revenue targets.

The successful candidate should have direct experience in lubricant sales or a closely related automotive or industrial products market and be comfortable working with distributors, dealers, workshops, fleet operators, and industrial customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve lubricant sales and revenue targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers, distributors, dealers, workshops, fleet operators, and industrial clients.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
• Promote and sell automotive and industrial lubricant products.
• Conduct regular customer visits and identify new sales opportunities.
• Deliver product presentations and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
• Understand customer applications and recommend suitable lubricant products and solutions.
• Generate leads and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and changing customer requirements.
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers and channel partners.
• Work toward assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5+ years of relevant sales experience.
• Proven experience in lubricants, automotive products, industrial oils, or a closely related industry.
• Strong understanding of lubricant products and their applications.
• Good knowledge of lubricant sales and distribution channels.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent sales and business development capabilities.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong customer relationship management abilities.
• Existing relationships with automotive workshops, fleets, dealers, distributors, or industrial customers are an advantage.
