The Advocate will be responsible for providing legal services including litigation, legal documentation, preparation of legal instruments, and legal advisory services to both individual and corporate clients. The role requires strong legal expertise, excellent communication skills, integrity, honesty, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
Draft various legal instruments and documents.
Handle litigation matters and represent clients before Courts, Tribunals, Commissions, and other relevant authorities.
Provide legal advice and support senior management on Corporate matters, Contracts, and Regulatory compliance.
Represent the company in legal proceedings, including Litigation, Arbitration, and Mediation.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Stay updated on legal developments and provide strategic legal insights.
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution.
Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.
Valid practicing certificate.
Must have been sworn in within the last one year.
Strong communication skills.
Analytical skills.
High level of integrity.
