We are seeking for a Human Resource Officer to support effective people management and HR operations across the organization.
The successful candidate will manage employee records, support recruitment activities, coordinate onboarding processes, ensure HR compliance, manage employee welfare programs, support health and safety initiatives, and maintain accurate personnel documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete and confidential employee personnel files in both physical and electronic formats.

Ensure employment contracts include signed job descriptions and company Code of Conduct documents.

Maintain updated job descriptions and role-specific HR documents for employees.

Safeguard employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information.

Prepare and coordinate employee induction schedules.

Ensure new employees complete all required onboarding activities.

Support employee medical scheme registration and follow up on employee healthcare support.

Coordinate employee training activities and maintain training records.
-
Prepare attendance lists and training reports for staff development activities.

Coordinate employee uniform, equipment, and onboarding requirements.

Prepare and manage annual employee leave schedules.
-
Monitor leave utilization and advise departments on outstanding leave balances.

Support employee exit processes and maintain exit documentation.

Ensure exit files contain required documents including resignation letters, clearance documents, exit interviews, and final dues records.

Participate in workplace health and safety activities.

Coordinate Health and Safety Committee meetings and maintain meeting records.
-
Support workplace safety initiatives including fire safety and safety awareness programs.

Assist with employee engagement activities and internal communication initiatives.

Support recruitment processes including communication with unsuccessful candidates.

Perform other HR duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management.

HR certification is an added advantage.
-
Two to three years of relevant HR working experience.

Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures.

Knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws.
