Exact Software Ltd is seeking a Senior ERP Solutions Consultant to act as a bridge between business operations and technology solutions. The role focuses on implementing, configuring and supporting the Vision Software Suite, an on-premise ERP platform covering accounting, inventory management, point of sale (POS), and payroll/HR management.
The successful candidate will work with clients to understand business challenges, redesign processes, implement ERP solutions, train users, support adoption and provide strategic consulting to help organizations improve efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities

Conduct business analysis and gap assessments to identify operational challenges and improvement opportunities.

Analyze client processes related to financial reporting, inventory management and payroll operations.

Map business requirements to suitable solutions within the Vision Software Suite.

Perform business process re-engineering and recommend improved workflows.

Develop customized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with ERP implementation.

Ensure ERP configurations comply with statutory reporting requirements, tax regulations and accounting standards.

Lead functional implementation and deployment of Vision ERP solutions.

Configure ERP environments and support on-premise software deployments.

Work with Microsoft SQL Server environments to troubleshoot database issues and support system configurations.

Manage migration of data from legacy systems into the Vision platform.

Support API integrations, including payment gateway integrations and other connected systems.

Design and deliver ERP training programmes for different user groups.

Train retail teams on POS systems and finance teams on accounting, payroll and reporting workflows.

Drive user adoption by supporting employees through operational and system changes.

Conduct software demonstrations for prospective business clients.

Support pre-sales activities by presenting ERP solutions and explaining business value.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients after implementation.

Provide post-implementation support and consulting services.

Identify opportunities for additional services, training or system improvements.

Collect client feedback and communicate improvement opportunities to the software development team.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.

CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional certification is an added advantage.

3–5+ years of experience implementing, consulting or supporting ERP systems.

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.

Experience with business systems consulting and process improvement.

Experience with on-premise software deployment environments.

Familiarity with Microsoft technology environments, especially Microsoft SQL Server.

Strong understanding of accounting and finance workflows.

Understanding of inventory management, POS and payroll/HRM processes.

Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Strong presentation and communication skills.
-
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and senior executives.
-
Experience delivering software training and supporting user adoption.
-
Authorized to work in Tanzania.
