Flex Tanzania is seeking a talented Spring Boot Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend solutions for banking and payment platforms. The successful candidate will build RESTful APIs, integrate payment services, develop microservices, and ensure high-performance applications that support financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs for banking and payment platforms.
• Integrate payment gateways and third-party financial services.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices architecture.
• Optimize application security, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain backend services.
• Follow software development best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience developing applications with Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and financial services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Banking or FinTech industry experience is an added advantage.
