Isamilo International School is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed Computer Science Teacher to join its Secondary School team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3, Cambridge IGCSE, and, where appropriate, Cambridge International AS & A Level. The teacher will inspire students to develop computational thinking, programming skills, digital literacy, and problem-solving abilities while preparing them for outstanding academic achievement.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in line with the Cambridge curriculum.
Teach Computer Science across Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and AS & A Level as required.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress using a variety of assessment strategies.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Integrate modern educational technology into teaching and learning.
Participate fully in school life, including extracurricular activities, meetings, school events, and professional development.
Uphold the school’s safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety policies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Education (Computer Science), or a related field
Recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum, particularly IGCSE Computer Science
Excellent subject knowledge

Master’s degree in a relevant field (desirable)
Experience teaching Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science (desirable)
