We are looking for a reliable and safety-minded Driver to support Jackfruit Cafe in Moshi. The role requires someone comfortable driving both a motorcycle and a minivan. Responsibilities include supplier collections, customer transfers, deliveries, staff transportation, and general errands. The successful candidate should be professional, courteous, and committed to safe driving.
Responsibilities

Transport employees to and from work, including after closing shifts.

Collect stock and products from suppliers.

Deliver customer orders on time and in good condition.

Provide transfers for customers to and from the cafe and other agreed locations.

Transport stock, equipment, and documents between company properties.

Run general errands as directed by management.

Keep motorcycles and vehicles clean, fueled, serviced, and roadworthy.

Maintain accurate trip, mileage, fuel, and delivery records.

Handle delivery paperwork and cash payments accurately.

Report vehicle faults, delays, or incidents to management promptly.

Assist with loading, unloading, and other reasonable duties when not driving.
Requirements

Valid Tanzanian driving licence covering A1, A2, B, C1, and C2 categories.

Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.

Experience driving both motorcycles and minivans.

Clean driving record.

Valid police clearance certificate.

Working English communication skills.

Good knowledge of Moshi and the surrounding areas.

Ability to use a smartphone, including WhatsApp and Google Maps.

Must be punctual, honest, reliable, and trustworthy when handling cash and goods.

Physically fit and able to lift and carry stock.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Smart, presentable, polite, and professional.

Strong safety awareness and a calm, patient approach to driving.

Good organizational skills and ability to maintain paperwork.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Basic vehicle mechanical knowledge is preferred.
