Office Attendant

Makanjiro Company Limited is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Attendant to support its daily office operations in Mtwara.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming workplace, serving refreshments to staff and visitors, handling basic office tasks, and providing general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, desks, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Sanitize workspaces and help maintain a clean and welcoming office environment.
• Prepare and serve beverages and refreshments to staff, clients, and visitors.
• Perform basic administrative duties such as photocopying and scanning documents.
• Carry out office errands when required.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and messages.
• Receive and distribute office supplies as required.
• Monitor office supplies and report shortages for timely replenishment.
• Assist staff with basic office support activities.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

Requirements

• Form Four (CSEE) Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as an Office Attendant, Receptionist, or Support Staff.
• Certificate or Diploma in Office Support or Secretarial Studies is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in Kiswahili and basic English.
• Good organizational skills.
• Punctual, responsible, and reliable.
• Professional attitude and conduct.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
