Accountant

We are seeking for an Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, risk management, and statutory tax compliance.

The role also involves maintaining plot and farm financing records, tracking customer installment payments, managing customer ledgers, and handling routine filings through government and regulatory portals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and analyze comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• File and reconcile statutory returns through government and regulatory portals, including TRA, NSSF, and WCF.
• Conduct internal control checks and support financial audit processes.
• Identify and mitigate potential operational and financial risks associated with real estate transactions.
• Record land sales and plot financing transactions accurately.
• Track customer installment payments and maintain customer ledger balances.
• Record and monitor operational expenditure.
• Use appropriate accounting and IT systems to maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification accounting experience.
• Auditing experience is highly preferred.
• Age between 27 and 35 years.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT applications.
• Practical experience using TRA, NSSF, and WCF online portals.
• Hands-on experience in financial auditing and risk-management procedures.
