The Integrated IT and Communications Officer will manage the organization's IT infrastructure while leading internal and external communications, public relations, branding, and digital media activities. The role ensures reliable ICT operations, strengthens stakeholder engagement, maintains the organization's online presence, and promotes a positive corporate image.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the organization's computer systems, networks, servers, internet connectivity, and ICT infrastructure.

Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and ICT equipment.

Provide technical support and user training.

Maintain data security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.

Administer organizational email systems and user accounts.

Manage and regularly update the organization's website.

Recommend and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Develop and implement communication and public relations strategies.

Prepare press releases, newsletters, speeches, brochures, and other communication materials.

Build and maintain relationships with media houses, government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders.

Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and public events.

Respond to media and public inquiries professionally.

Protect and promote the organization's corporate image.

Manage all organizational social media platforms.

Create and publish digital content including graphics, photos, and videos.

Monitor online engagement and prepare analytics reports.

Ensure consistent branding across all communication channels.

Develop awareness campaigns to increase organizational visibility.

Prepare monthly and quarterly ICT and communications reports.

Support meetings, workshops, conferences, and public events.

Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Minimum three years of relevant professional experience in IT, communications, or public relations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
