The Residence Zanzibar is seeking a skilled Plumber to support the resort's maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment while ensuring efficient operation of water systems and the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.

Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to ensure efficient performance.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.

Identify faults and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.

Support corrective maintenance activities when required.

Maintain records of maintenance activities and system performance.

Ensure compliance with environmental standards and workplace safety procedures.

Monitor plumbing and water systems to maintain reliable operations.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing maintenance.

Minimum 2 years of experience operating or maintaining Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).

Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing, Water Treatment, Environmental Engineering, or related technical field.

Ability to perform plumbing repairs and maintenance activities.

Knowledge of equipment inspections and basic fault diagnosis.

Understanding of safety procedures and environmental regulations.

Ability to work effectively in a hospitality maintenance environment.
