Job Description

The primary objectives of this role are to: Ensure early detection and prevention of security risks and vulnerabilities within critical IT resources of the Bank. Provide control counseling, advisory services, and decision support, including risk-based performance management on emerging threats affecting Bank operations. Create and enhance a consistent Information Security culture across all functions, aligned with the Bank’s control and business objectives. Promote regulatory compliance of IT infrastructure while ensuring adoption of global best practices without unnecessary exposure to known vulnerabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the Bank.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Build a strong KYC compliance environment across ICT, Business Software Support, E-Business, and Channels Support functions.
Ensure strict compliance with the Bank’s logical access controls and Information Security policies in daily user activities.
Ensure all outsourced IT user functions are performed in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Information Security policies.
Ensure effective review and monitoring of users accessing critical and vital banking applications.
Ensure timely resolution of all outstanding issues from Audit reports, Management letters, Regulatory examination reports, and other statutory reviews relating to IT and systems.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments covering the design, implementation, and operation of the Bank’s E-Channels products.
Identify key risks and recommend appropriate controls for implementation.
Perform periodic technical security assessments of E-Channels platforms, Applications, and Databases.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new E-Channels Collection platforms and enhancements to existing digital banking products.
Review automated income lines as assigned by the Head of Internal Control.
Ensure timely and quality preparation of compliance assessments, monthly reports, and ad-hoc reports for the Head of Internal Control.

Requirements

Basic and intermediate knowledge of banking operations.
Knowledge of IT fraud and operational risk management.
Understanding of systems security policies, regulations, and implementation requirements.
Knowledge of revenue assurance and banking product management.
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Intranet and email systems, Core banking applications, and Ancillary banking systems.
Analytical and investigation skills.
Auditing skills.
Basic and intermediate banking operations skills.
Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT) skills.
Information Systems Control skills.
Information Systems Audit skills.
