Project Manager – Electrical Building Services

Sihotech Engineering Company Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical Building Services to lead the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and successful delivery of electrical systems for commercial and high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage project execution, and ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical building services.
• Manage Low Voltage (LV) power distribution systems.
• Oversee lighting, standby power, UPS, fire alarm, and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Coordinate electrical works with architectural, structural, mechanical, and fire protection teams.
• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and regulations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Review and approve electrical designs, technical submissions, and commissioning reports.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, electrical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
• Valid ERB Practising Licence.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in electrical building services for commercial or high-rise buildings.
• Strong expertise in LV power systems, lighting, standby power, UPS, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Sound knowledge of IEC Standards, British Standards (BS), and relevant building codes.
• Strong understanding of testing, commissioning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
