AKO Group Limited is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the coordination and delivery of projects across catering, hospitality, and facilities management operations.
The successful candidate will assist with project planning and coordination, budgeting, cost control, operational performance monitoring, client management, supplier coordination, and quality compliance. The role may also involve supporting camp operations in remote or rural locations.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate project activities across catering, hospitality, and facilities management operations.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, and day-to-day operational coordination.

Support budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial control for assigned projects.

Monitor operational performance against established KPIs.

Prepare project progress and operational performance reports.

Support client relationship management and ensure agreed service delivery standards are maintained.

Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support timely project delivery.

Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures and quality standards.

Monitor project activities and identify operational issues requiring corrective action.

Support compliance with ISO 22000 and other applicable international safety and quality standards.

Support effective coordination between project teams and other business functions.

Assist with camp management operations in remote or rural locations when required.

Help ensure projects meet operational, quality, cost, and client requirements.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Catering Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, facilities management, camp management, or a related operational environment.

Knowledge of project coordination and operational management.

Knowledge of budgeting and cost-control practices.

Experience monitoring operational performance and KPIs.

Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Ability to work effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working in remote camps, mining sites, or large catering operations is an added advantage.
