UBA Tanzania is seeking a talented Software Developer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of software solutions that support business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and help deliver scalable, high-quality software while promoting modern software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Participate in project planning, solution design, and technical discussions.

Perform software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve development practices.
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Experience in software development and business analysis.

Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
