Official job description

The Youth Engagement Officer will integrate youth perspectives across project activities, co-create youth-focused messages and IEC materials, support club activities, and serve as a liaison between Femina Hip and young people.

Responsibilities

Bring a youth perspective across all project work packages.
Co-create messages and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
Support youth club activities.
Serve as a liaison between Femina Hip and young people.
Create social media content related to youth, SRHR, health, or gender issues.

Requirements

Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE).
Youth engagement and youth-focused program experience.
Social media content creation skills.
Knowledge of youth, SRHR, health, or gender issues.
English language proficiency at B2 level.
Kiswahili language proficiency at C1 level.
Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with young people.
