HOPE HOLDING, operating under the Amal Home brand, is seeking two IT Officers to support and maintain information technology infrastructure, digital production equipment, networks, and administrative technology at its carpet manufacturing facility in Dar es Salaam.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain digital equipment used within the manufacturing facility
- Monitor and troubleshoot production-related IT systems, devices, and networks
- Maintain factory Wi-Fi infrastructure, printers, CCTV systems, barcode scanners, and other digital production devices
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining hardware and digital equipment used in production and administration
- Resolve hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions
- Support production reporting systems and other operational technology platforms
- Monitor the performance and reliability of digital systems used in manufacturing operations
- Provide technical support for factory digital systems and production equipment
- Contribute to the effective use of technology in production and administrative processes
- Maintain accurate IT asset registers and equipment records
- Update system documentation and records relating to IT equipment
- Support the proper maintenance and management of digital devices and IT resources
- Support digital transformation initiatives within the manufacturing facility
- Identify opportunities to improve IT support processes and technology performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing operational efficiency and system reliability
Requirements
- Knowledge and practical skills in network and digital device support
- Printer configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- IT systems support and troubleshooting experience in an operational environment
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to support factory digital systems, production technologies, and operational technology environments
