The Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA), a public higher learning institution under the Ministry of Finance, is seeking an Assistant Lecturer in French Language to teach, conduct research and provide consultancy services at its campuses in Dar es Salaam and Dodoma.
Responsibilities
- Teach French Language courses at undergraduate and non-degree levels.
- Prepare course outlines, lecture notes and language teaching materials.
- Set, invigilate and mark tests and examinations.
- Supervise and mentor students in language learning and projects.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly work and participate in consultancy and community service.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Master's degree in French Language, Linguistics or a closely related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a strong academic record (upper second class or equivalent GPA).
- High proficiency in written and spoken French and English.
- Good communication, presentation and teaching skills.
- Ability to conduct research and supervise students.
- Knowledge of French Language.
- Academic teaching and language communication capabilities.
