Tanzania Institute of Accountancy is seeking an Assistant Lecturer to undertake academic activities in Accounting and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and diploma courses in Accounting and Finance, including preparing lectures, tutorials and course materials.
- Set, invigilate and mark tests and examinations, and supervise student projects and field attachments.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly work and participate in consultancy activities in Accounting and Finance.
- Provide academic advice and mentorship to students.
- Participate in curriculum development and other academic and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field with good academic performance.
- Professional qualification such as CPA(T) is an added advantage.
- Strong teaching, communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to research and academic excellence.
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance.
- Ability to undertake academic teaching-related duties.
