TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited is looking to hire a full-time Accounting & Credit Analyst to manage credit control, customer accounts, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial closing support in Dar es Salaam.
Responsibilities
- Review customer account balances and investigate outstanding items
- Monitor company receivables and highlight potential problem areas to the Credit Control Manager
- Assist in determining appropriate actions for managing credit customers
- Track customer payment promises and waivers in line with approved payment terms
- Prepare and issue customer debit notes and credit notes based on approved business requests
- Raise tax invoices for Hospitality, Solar, and Shop Food & Services through SD posting
- Raise journal vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes through the SSC ticketing tool for Financial Accounting postings
- Maintain and securely file Credit Terms Request forms, debit and credit notes, memos, and credit control records
- Perform routine account matching and reconciliations across General Trade, Product in Transit, Solar, Lubes, Cards, and Aviation accounts
- Prepare quarterly account statements for assigned customer channels
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with reporting deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or ACCA certification (mandatory)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting and credit control experience
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
