Stock Control Officer

We are seeking for a Stock Control Officer to manage inventory accuracy, monitor stock movements and support effective stock-control processes across the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales and Finance teams to maintain accurate inventory records, ensure appropriate stock levels and support smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for products and spare parts.
• Receive, inspect and record incoming stock according to company procedures.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts.
• Reconcile physical inventory against system records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses and branches.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend stock replenishment when required.
• Prepare inventory reports and analyze stock-movement trends.
• Ensure inventory is properly stored, handled and organized.
• Work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales and Finance departments.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory-control policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate stock documentation and records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations is an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Good knowledge of inventory-management and stock-control practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge or experience with ERP or inventory-management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
