Sinoray is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to operate company trucks and heavy-duty commercial vehicles for the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cargo transportation, vehicle inspections, route planning, transport documentation, and compliance with Tanzanian traffic and road safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy-duty trucks including HOWO, Scania, MAN trailers, or similar commercial vehicles.

Transport goods safely and ensure deliveries are completed within scheduled timelines.

Select suitable routes to minimize delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or construction activities.

Ensure cargo is properly handled, secured, and fastened during transportation.

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Check engine fluids, tires, brakes, and safety equipment before and after trips.

Identify basic mechanical problems and promptly report vehicle faults to the workshop.

Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.

Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle movements, delivery receipts, and fuel consumption.

Follow Tanzanian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company transport policies.

Operate company vehicles responsibly and protect company property and assets.
Requirements

Valid Class E Driving License.

Valid Class D Driving License.
-
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a Truck Driver.

Experience operating HOWO trucks.

Experience operating Scania trucks.
-
Experience operating MAN trucks.

Experience operating heavy trailers.

Experience in long-distance or commercial haulage.

Good knowledge of road safety rules and traffic laws.

Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.

Physically fit and capable of performing the duties associated with commercial truck driving.

High level of integrity, reliability, discipline, and responsibility.

Good communication skills.

Strong commitment to protecting company vehicles, cargo, and other assets.
