Sinoray is seeking a skilled Truck Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, service, and repair company trucks and heavy-duty logistics vehicles.
The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, carry out repairs, and help ensure the company's fleet remains safe, reliable, and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty diesel trucks.

Repair and overhaul truck engines, transmission systems, air brake systems, suspension systems, hydraulic systems, and steering systems.

Use diagnostic scanners and specialized workshop tools to identify vehicle faults.

Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to restore vehicle performance.

Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.

Conduct timely inspections and repairs to minimize vehicle breakdowns.

Work with drivers to assess and diagnose reported vehicle problems.

Conduct post-repair testing to confirm that vehicles are operating correctly.

Ensure trucks comply with national road safety standards, technical regulations, and company maintenance requirements.

Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, service schedules, spare-parts replacements, and maintenance costs.

Report major mechanical failures and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop.

Ensure workshop tools and equipment are properly handled and maintained.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in truck repair, heavy-duty diesel engine maintenance, or fleet workshop operations.

Strong knowledge of heavy-vehicle mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Practical experience in diesel engine diagnostics, troubleshooting, and heavy-truck repairs.

Strong technical problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Good analytical abilities.

Physically fit and capable of performing workshop duties.

High level of integrity, discipline, teamwork, and safety awareness.

Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment.
