Assistant Accountant

Smartuna Technologies Company Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support financial operations, maintain accurate records, prepare reports, manage accounts and payroll, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Prepare and submit financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Monitor cash flow and support financial planning
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
• Safeguard financial data and ensure confidentiality

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks or similar)
• Excellent analytical, numerical and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
