Securities Trader

We are looking for a Securities Trader to join its growing team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing securities transactions, monitoring financial markets, analysing market trends, identifying investment opportunities, and supporting clients with investment decisions. The role also involves maintaining accurate trading records and ensuring all trading activities comply with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor financial markets, securities prices, and market trends.
• Analyse market movements and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Advise clients on suitable securities and investment opportunities.
• Keep up to date with developments affecting financial and securities markets.
• Maintain accurate records of trading activities and transactions.
• Ensure trading activities comply with relevant regulations and internal procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Good understanding of financial markets, securities, and investment products.
• Securities-related courses or professional certifications are an added advantage.
• Previous experience in securities trading or financial services is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to monitor and interpret financial market information.
• Good communication and client service skills.
