Livestock Training Agency (LITA)

The Livestock Training Agency (LITA) is a Tanzanian government executive agency under the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, established on 1 September 2011 and operational from the 2012/2013 financial year. LITA is mandated to provide high-quality livestock training, applied research, consultancy services, and the production of livestock products and by-products to serve the Tanzanian community. It operates eight campuses across the country with its headquarters in Njedengwa, Dodoma City.
