Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), in Swahili "Taasisi ya Tiba ya Mifupa Muhimbili", is an autonomous Tanzanian government institute established by Act of Parliament No. 7 of 1996. It provides super-specialized services in orthopaedics, traumatology and neurosurgery, together with teaching and research, and serves as a faculty of the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). Located in Dar es Salaam, the institute has 362 beds, 11 operating theatres, a Cath Lab (Angio Suite) and a 24/7 emergency service.
