Closes Sep 9The Public Procurement Appeals Authority (PPAA) is an independent Tanzanian government institution under the Ministry of Finance. First established under the Public Procurement Act No. 3 of 2001 and re-established under the Public Procurement Act No. 10 of 2023, PPAA provides an independent avenue outside the court system through which aggrieved bidders can submit complaints and appeals relating to public procurement and tendering processes, enabling disputes to be determined quickly and corrective measures to be taken where procuring entities have breached procurement law. It is headquartered at 5 Mkandarasi Place, 58 Lusinde Road, Dodoma.
