TRA SACCOS LTD

TRA SACCOS LTD was formed in 2006 by employees of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) across all TRA offices in the country, including Zanzibar and Pemba. The SACCOS is a registered Savings and Credit Cooperative Society that mobilizes member savings and provides credit facilities to promote socio-economic welfare. With over 6,000 members, TRA SACCOS ensures efficient fund utilization and loan repayment through payroll deductions, maintaining a delinquency rate of less than 1%. It operates under the Co-operative Societies Act No. 20 of 2003 and is licensed as a Class B microfinance institution under the Microfinance Act No. 10 of 2018.
