Vipawa Works Inc. Limited is seeking an experienced
Chinese Translator / Interpreter to support communication between Chinese-speaking and local teams on construction projects in Morogoro. The successful candidate will provide accurate translation and interpretation services, facilitate effective communication during meetings and business operations, and ensure professionalism, confidentiality, and linguistic accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

Translate documents, reports, contracts, emails, and technical materials between Chinese, English, and Swahili.

Provide interpretation services during meetings, negotiations, training sessions, and business discussions.

Review and proofread translated content to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Support communication between Chinese-speaking staff and local teams.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and company documents.

Assist with project coordination and operational activities requiring language support.

Prepare translation records and reports when required.

Promote effective cross-cultural communication throughout project activities.
Requirements

Fluency in Chinese, English, and Swahili.

Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Chinese Translator and/or Interpreter.

Experience translating business documents, contracts, reports, technical documents, and providing interpretation services.

Previous experience with Chinese companies, construction projects, manufacturing, logistics, or similar industries is an added advantage.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of translation software is an added advantage.

Bachelor's degree in Languages, Translation, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum Certificate qualification required.
