Accountant

Vipawa Works Inc. Limited is seeking a skilled Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and compliance. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, support audits, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in accordance with accounting principles.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounting transactions.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control procedures.
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes.
• Safeguard financial records and maintain database backups.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing the general ledger.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
