HR Generalist

We are seeking for an HR Generalist responsible for supporting human resources operations, employee relations, recruitment processes, HR administration and compliance with labour laws. The role involves managing employee records, supporting staff development, maintaining HR systems and ensuring effective implementation of company HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment processes from job posting through candidate selection and onboarding.
• Support employee onboarding activities and ensure new employees complete required documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR information systems.
• Manage HR databases and ensure employee information remains current and organized.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws and company HR policies.
• Support employee relations activities and address workplace concerns professionally.
• Assist with performance management processes, including employee reviews and follow-ups.
• Support disciplinary processes in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate training and staff development activities.
• Provide administrative support for HR operations and daily workforce management.
• Support the effective use and maintenance of HR/ERP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Public Management or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in Human Resources.
• Good knowledge of labour laws and HR practices.
• Experience using HR information systems or HR/ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
