Vipawa Works Inc. Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support engineering and construction projects based in Morogoro. The successful candidate will oversee civil engineering activities, supervise site works, coordinate project execution, and ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Design, review, and supervise installation of civil works and project systems.

Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project plans.

Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved standards.

Coordinate project execution with project managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Conduct inspections and testing of construction works and project components.

Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and project progress updates.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of civil works.

Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.

Support procurement activities through technical specifications and material selection.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in engineering and construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering systems, and installation processes.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Experience in site supervision and project coordination.

Knowledge of quality control and occupational health and safety standards.

Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

CRB (Contractors Registration Board) Certification is required.
