CNS Group is seeking a results-driven Sales Officer in Dar es Salaam to acquire clients, promote microfinance products, assess prospective borrowers, support loan portfolio management, and achieve sales and loan disbursement targets.
Responsibilities
- Support the achievement of sales targets set by the company
- Provide front-office customer service while ensuring proper representation and protection of the company’s brand
- Input and maintain borrower information in the loan management system
- Assist in planning, implementing and executing marketing and sales strategies
- Assist in preparing company, portfolio and market performance reports as required
- Evaluate clients’ creditworthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits and in accordance with the company’s credit policy
- Interview loan applicants to determine their financial eligibility and the feasibility of granting loans
- Determine applicable financial ratios and metrics and establish appropriate debt repayment plans
- Communicate with clients to request required information and provide relevant updates
- Assess customer needs, explore available options and introduce clients to different loan products
- Develop referral networks, identify alternative sales channels and cross-sell products and services to achieve assigned sales targets
- Build strong customer relationships to promote trust, loyalty and satisfaction throughout the loan underwriting process
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and established lending guidelines
- Attend to leads referred by business partners and maintain strong working relationships with them
- Perform any other related duties assigned in support of the company’s objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or similar discipline
- Two years of sales experience in loan-related products
- Business acumen and integrity
- Organisational and time management skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
