Program Management Specialist – CRDB Bank Foundation

CRDB Bank is seeking a Program Management Specialist for the CRDB Bank Foundation to support the Manager of Programs and Partnership Development in implementing and managing programmes and partnerships. The role coordinates programme activities, monitors and evaluates programme performance, supports stakeholder engagement, and contributes to resource mobilisation and grant management, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with donor requirements and measurable social impact.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager of Programs and Partnerships Development in coordinating and implementing programme activities, managing programme documentation, timelines and performance dashboards.
• Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of assigned programmes, including youth entrepreneurship, financial literacy, incubation and community development programmes, and prepare regular progress reports.
• Maintain and update Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools, programme trackers and performance dashboards; collect and analyse programme data to track progress against targets.
• Support the development and maintenance of partnerships with community organisations, government agencies, private sector partners and development partners, including coordinating meetings, workshops and field visits.
• Assist in preparing grant proposals, concept notes, progress reports and financial accountability reports for donors and partners.
• Support the preparation of the Foundation's annual reports, programme reports, newsletters, website content, social media posts and other publications.
• Prepare briefs, meeting minutes, presentations and reports for senior stakeholders, and support internal review meetings and strategy sessions.
• Coordinate programme logistics, including procurement of services, event management, travel arrangements and vendor coordination.
• Support resource mobilisation by researching funding opportunities, tracking grant pipelines and maintaining a database of current and prospective donors and partners.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual programme reports for development partners, donors, EXCO and the Board.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Work/Sociology, Public Administration, Entrepreneurship Development, Business Management, Project Planning or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in programme management, project management or a related role.
• Experience managing social impact programmes, NGO projects, development programmes or entrepreneurship initiatives from inception to completion.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation, programme reporting, data management and performance tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swahili.
• Experience working with community stakeholders, government agencies, private sector organisations, financial institutions or development partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and programme management tools, databases and digital communication platforms.
