Cashier

Lesso Africa Company Limited is seeking a Cashier to manage daily customer payments, maintain accurate cash records, process point-of-sale transactions, and support daily financial reporting. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and confidence handling cash and computerized transaction records.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Receive and handle cash and other approved forms of payment.
• Issue receipts and process point-of-sale transactions.
• Maintain accurate daily cash and transaction records.
• Reconcile cash collections at the end of each shift.
• Handle customer inquiries relating to billing and payments.
• Identify and report discrepancies in cash or transaction records.
• Prepare daily financial and cash collection reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of payment transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle cash accurately.
• Good numerical ability.
• Ability to maintain accurate transaction records.
• Ability to work responsibly with financial information.
