Power Group Technologies Limited is seeking an Electrical Technician to support electrical and telecom systems in the Dar es Salaam Region, including data center systems, automation and control systems, rectifiers, UPS units, and low-voltage switchgear.
Responsibilities
- Support, install and maintain electrical systems for telecommunications infrastructure in the Dar es Salaam Region
- Maintain and troubleshoot data centre electrical systems, including rectifiers, UPS systems and low-voltage (LV) switchgear
- Support automation and control systems used in telecom and data centre sites
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in circuits and wiring using appropriate tools and equipment
- Work from technical manuals and engineering blueprints when carrying out installation and maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of automation and control systems
- Experience with rectifiers, UPS systems, and other low-voltage switchgear
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certification and EWURA license
