Logistics Officer

Raising The Village is seeking a Logistics Officer based in Bukoba, Kagera, to manage warehouse operations, fleet and motorbike utilization, fuel reconciliations, logistics data, and program material distributions, with approximately 50% field travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the storage, movement, and issuance of program equipment, materials, and seeds.
• Maintain precise inventory records and perform physical stock reconciliations.
• Coordinate vehicle allocations, fuel consumption, and routine maintenance for vehicles and motorbikes.
• Manage contracted service providers and review job cards and invoices.
• Track and analyze fuel usage patterns, prepare reconciliation reports, investigate consumption variances, and resolve field-level discrepancies.
• Plan and execute the transport of supplies to project sites.
• Conduct field verification visits to audit stock, assets, and operational needs.
• Centralize and analyze fleet, fuel, warehouse, and inventory data.
• Prepare periodic management reports and highlight operational trends.
• Maintain up-to-date logistics documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
