Relationship Banker Private Banking

Stanbic Bank Tanzania is looking for a Relationship Banker in its Personal & Private Banking segment in Zanzibar. The role holder will proactively promote a deep relationship-based offering, related initiatives and activities aimed at creating value for the client and the bank, by optimising client experience, building deep relationships and creating profitability for the bank.

Responsibilities

• Proactively promote a deep relationship-based offering to private banking clients.
• Drive related initiatives and activities aimed at creating value for the client and the bank.
• Optimise the client experience and build deep, long-term client relationships.
• Create profitability for the bank through the sale of consumer banking products, including BDC/Forex and credit.
• Apply banking processes and procedures, and identify and report risk.

Requirements

• First Degree in Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting or a related field.
• 1-2 years of branch banking experience in Personal and Private Banking.
• Exposure to universal banking, BDC/Forex, credit and overall client service.
• Commercial and financial acumen, consumer banking product knowledge and customer understanding.
• Competencies in examining information, making decisions, establishing rapport and convincing people.
