Finance Intern

Responsibilities

• Support Loan Disbursement Process loan disbursements, verify documentation, and ensure all required approvals are obtained before funds are released.
• Process Payments Assist in preparing and processing payments to suppliers, staff, and other stakeholders while ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
• Maintain Financial Records Record financial transactions accurately and maintain organized records of loan disbursements, invoices, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Perform Account Reconciliations Assist in reconciling bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
• Provide Financial and Administrative Support Support the Finance Department with data entry, audit documentation, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily financial operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience in accounting; experience in the banking or financial services industry will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
