Provides efficient, compliant, and cost-effective domestic banking operations and customer services while supporting product initiatives, transaction processing, reconciliations, payments, and ATM administration.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with policy in transaction processing.
- Identify and propose international best practices for domestic operations.
- Ensure that all third-party payments are processed on time.
- Ensure that all expense payments are processed in compliance with policy.
- Ensure an “A” rating in external and internal audits.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
- Serve as custodian of all ATMs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Domestic Operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or good first degree in any discipline.
- Banking operations and control policies knowledge.
- Knowledge of treasury products and dynamics.
- Knowledge of industry requirements and their impact on assigned responsibilities.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and relevant Central Bank circulars.
- Technical competence in banking operating platforms such as Finacle.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
