HR Assistant

Usangu Group is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruitment and onboarding, employee records management, payroll and legal matters, and employee relations at its Tabata Matumbi office in Dar es Salaam.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees
• Maintain employee records and files
• Assist with payroll and legal matters
• Handle employee relations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in the transport and logistics sector
• Knowledge of Tanzanian employment laws
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
• Ability to work effectively with people
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of HR systems
• Experience in the transport and logistics sector is preferred
